SOARS is a collaborative poster session connected to the Summit hosted by the Summit Medical Institute and sponsored by the Orthopaedic Research Society's Ambassadors as a regional symposium. This collaborative event provides clinicians with an opportunity to learn about current local research and researchers an opportunity to learn from clinicians working with patients. When we build connections and collaborations, patient care is better!
We invite you to participate in the 5th annual Summit/ORS Ambassadors Regional Symposium (SOARS) research conference in conjunction with the 7th annual Summit held at Sundance Mountain Resort September 10-12, 2026. The conference will be held on Friday, September 11th . Abstracts will be accepted from June 15 – August 20, 2026, and anticipated abstract acceptance notification by August 26th. The presenting authors must attend in person. You are welcome and encouraged to register for and participate in the associated 2026 Summit.
Participants are welcome to submit research abstracts in all aspects of spine and orthopedics, including the following areas:
Clinical research and case presentation
Spine
Intervertebral disc
Orthopedics
Fracture repair
Central/peripheral nervous system
Pain management
Biomaterials
Bone
Cartilage and synovium
Tendon and Ligament
Musculoskeletal
Orthopedic device and therapeutics innovation
Wearable sensors for orthopedics
Education and outreach
Abstracts can be submitted between June 15 and August 20, 2026. All abstracts will be peer reviewed, and authors will be notified of acceptance by August 26.
Abstracts are limited to 500 words and should include introduction, methods, results, and discussion/conclusion/clinical significance sections.
At least one author will need to attend and present in person, although all authors are welcome and encouraged to come and share their work.
Poster size is limited to 42" height and 45" wide (maximum). Posters must reflect the material summarized in your abstract.
SOARS is located at Sundance Mountain Resort in the grassy area behind the Reford Conference Center. The poster session is held on Friday, September 11 from 4-5:30 pm.
